Communio’s vision is to save Western Civilization by mobilizing and equipping the local church to reverse the collapse of the family in the United States and bring societal wide renewal of faith in Jesus Christ.
Part ministry coach, part accountability partner, the Church Engagement Specialist is responsible first and foremost for the successful launch of Communio’s proven Data-Informed, Full-Circle Relationship Ministry® with every new church partner on your caseload. You’ll build authentic, one-on-one relationships with the pastor and ministry leader at each of your churches to truly listen and understand the unique culture, context, and needs of their congregations.
You’ll then guide them through Communio’s initial 60-day onboarding and vision process – providing equal measures of encouragement, collaboration, and accountability – to design a ministry plan that lays the foundation for a fruitful multi-year partnership.
Toward that end, you will have an established library of Communio resources at your fingertips and a world-class service team to give a church all they need to build their plan during the onboard phase. From there, a dedicated church service member will work with the church to implement the ministry and hold its ministry leader accountable to the goals and metrics you helped them set. That ensures you remain focused at a strategic level on proactively communicating and casting vision, generating “buy-in”, and problem-solving with the pastor throughout the partnership.
To date, Communio has equipped more than 300 churches on our model. Churches that follow Communio’s guidance and ministry best practices see an average 22 percent growth in Sunday attendance by the 12-24 month mark of our partnership. 70 percent of couples who self-report being at highest risk of divorce report being very satisfied or better in their marriage after completing a relationship skills enrichment experience.
And we’re growing fast.
Our President and CEO has an ambitious vision and national strategy to serve 4,000 churches of 500 or more in the top 40 US cities by the end of the decade.
